Time To Find A New Nashville Star

I have already said that I do not know much about current country music, so please bear with me if I don't get the names right away or spell them incorrectly.
Disclaimer said, I am kind of looking forward to this-new-to network talent show. I enjoy talented singers, and from what I've heard this show's contestants have been far more talented that American Idol. This is what I'm anxious to see!
The host is Billy Ray Cyrus, star of being the father of Miley Cyrus. Sorry, it had to be said once. I actually like Billy Ray, despite Achey-Brakey Heart, and think he will be a great host.

The judges are:
Jewel - I was wondering what happened to her. Did she just turn her soul over to country music? Anyway, Jewel should have a good ear for the competition and I don't see her being all that tactful for some reason.

The show did put a casting call out specifically to the members of the U.S. Military. Kudos to the show for allowing those with special talents to lift moral on a big stage. Great job, Nashville Star!
