Thursday nights are a bit of a grab bag on network TV this season. I had high hopes for the new comedy $#*! My Dad Says, but that time spot is now open on my calendar. There are still some great new shows to check out if you haven’t yet.
Let’s see what’s on network TV tonight:
ABC
8/7c: My Generation - new episode
While Steven tries to establish a relationship with his son, he has to face a ghost from the past. Rolly is missing Dawn’s pregnancy milestones while being deployed.
9/8c: Grey’s Anatomy - new episode
Derek finds out about Meredith’s miscarriage... and her pregnancy. Due to the bullet in his chest, Alex is still unable to operate.
10/9c: Private Practice - new episode
Justine Bateman guest stars as a pot smoking patient the doctors quarrel over. When a patient asks for a sex change operation Charlotte and Sheldon disagree.
CBS
8/7c: The Big Bang Theory - new episode
Steve Wozniak makes an appearance. Sheldon makes a plan to prolong his life so he can see his dream of downloading his consciousness into a computer.
8:30/7:30c: $#*! My Dad Says - new episode
Ah, William Shatner (playing a retired doctor) does a breast examination on Bonnie. Think I’ll pass.
9/8c: CSI: Crime Scene Investigation - new episode
A girl gets attacked... by a shark.. in her hotel swimming pool. Ah, Vegas. Guest stars include Elliot Gould, Holly Madison and Method Man.
10/9c: The Mentalist - new episode
Jane’s brother-in-law is a murder suspect and needs help.
CW
8/7c: Vampire Diaries - new episode
Stefan finds out the secrets about 1864 and how he became a vampire. Mason has to try to keep the secret of the Larkwood’s past.
9/8c: Nikita - new episode
Michael and Nikita try to right a past wrong. Alex has to face her claustrophobia after a panic attack.
FOX
8/7c: Bones - new episode
Katheryn Winnick guest stars. A couple’s remains are found in a cave at a National Park.
9/8c: Fringe - new episode
Something is causing people to go into trances. The problem is, they never come out of the trances once they go in.
NBC
8/7c: Community - new episode
The study group becomes corrupted when Jeff goes back to some old vices.
8:30/7:30c: 30 Rock - new episode
Paul Giarnatti guest stars as the feature of Liz’s affections with her newly found confidence.
9/8c: The Office - new episode
Toby and Michael are off to office therapy. Fun for us, not so much for Michael. A shop owner that disrespects Dwight is in for a big surprise when he wages war.
9:30/8:30c: Outsourced - new episode
Ted has to find a way to save an employee’s job or fire them.
10/9c: The Apprentice - new episode
These kids are playing for keeps this season on The Apprentice. In a task after my own heart, the contestants have to take charge of a doggie day care. Ceasar Milan guest stars.
