After 39 days in the rain forest we finally see the Survivor Nicaragua players all cleaned up tonight. After a couple of intense Tribal Councils and a little more back stabbing, Fabio was pronounced the youngest winner of the $1 million Survivor prize. Jane won the $100,000 prize for America's Favorite Player votes. Here's how the Survivor Nicaragua finale and reunion show went down:
After a short recap, the final five entered the Immunity Challenge. It was a puzzle challenge and Fabio continued his reign of terror (albeit giggling terror). Winning easily over the other three, Fabio secured his spot in the final four.
All hope for Dan was diminishing quickly. We did see the first glimpse of game play from him though, as he explained why Sash and Fabio should keep him over Holly. Why no one was going after Chase is beyond me.
The Tribal Council was relatively calm. Dan was voted off by a vote of 3-1. He said after leaving that he switched his vote to Chase "because that's how much I don't like him..." Of Holly, Dan said, "...you're a crook. You stole my damn shoes. You oughtta have you're hands cut off!" Dan ended his only speech on Survivor Nicaragua with, "I wish them all the worst and can't wait to cast my vote." Nice.
The final four were: Fabio (Jud), Holly, Chase and Sash

The final Immunity Challenge brought a battle of nerves and body control. Survivors had to balance a sword on a shield while stacking coins on the sword handle. When the stack of coins (oddly shaped) falls, you're out.
Holly was the first to fall, this did not look good for her chances of winning. Chase followed soon behind. Fabio and Sash took a little longer, but Sash soon lost the handle and his chance at immunity. Fabio wins immunity, again... that's three in a row if you're keeping score.
Time to scramble. Everyone started talking to Fabio. All he could do was smile. Chase and Holly took the honest route and told him they would not have taken him to the final three. Sash stuck with his game plan of lying, then got busted and had to double talk.
After a last Tribal Council of talking one way and voting another, the men chose to stick together. They voted Holly off in fourth place. She took it like a champ, with no harsh words to anyone.
It was nice to see Fabio call out Sash for lying at Tribal Council. He showed that he did know what was going on, at least in that instance. Sash was the safest one to take to the end since he lied to everyone in Survivor Nicaragua. Chase was a bigger threat. Though he lied, I think he did feel bad about it.
The final Tribal Council always proves fun. When the table are turned and the jury members get to ask each person in the final three a question (or bawl them out!). It was a fairly drama free night though. Dan was the only real meltdown.
Dan called Sash a liar, a phony and spineless. He also told Sash to get his eye fixed, to get rid of the wink he forever gives. Dan wasn't done. Chase was called out for backstabbing everyone, especially Jane. Dan told Chase (in the immortal words of Judge Judy), "Beauty fades, dumb is forever."
Brenda confronted Sash about not giving her the Hidden Immunity Idol to save her from leaving. What we weren't told (and why it was stupid for Brenda to bring it up) is that Brenda waged a strike against Sash earlier that day... and he was told of it by NaOnka.
NaOnka was reserved, to say the least for her. She asked what Fabio would do with the money and he had the entire jury crying as he spoke of taking care of his parents. His parents appear to be quite well off (and he told of a few of the inventions credited to his family at the reunion), but it worked.
Alina was a little strange. She congratulated Fabio for getting to the finals but said she called him a boy... and said she wanted to vote for a man. Seriously? As the boys began pounding her chest for her, she giggled and said, "I like what's happening here. This is like two, maybe three, men fighting for what they want." M'kay.
The final votes came down, read off dramatically by Jeff Probst. One for Fabio, one for Chase. It kept alternating until we had a 4-4 tie... the last vote went to Fabio. Jeff Probst proclaimed him the youngest winner in Survivor history. Jenna was also 21 when she won (unanamously), but she must be a few months older than Jud.
