Here’s what’s on network TV tonight:
ABC
8/7c: Skating With the Stars - live
The final three couples will perform during the last night of competition on the ice. Not sure if we’ll see a second season of this slick celebrity skating competition. I think ABC can do better than this. Find out the winner later this wee.
9/8c: Castle - rerun
In a two hour special repeat, Castle and Beckett explore their feelings for each other. Beckett is forced to arrest Castle later when he’s found at a murder scene holding a gun.
CBS
8/7c: How I Met Your Mother - rerun
Barney’s mom has to move, so the gang chips in to help. Robin talks highly of Ted to a blind date.
8:30/7:30c: Rules of Engagement - rerun
Audrey realizes her job is what’s making her unhappy and she wants to quit. Allison and Timmy hit a snag in their relationship.
9/8c: Two and a Half Men - rerun
Evelyn asks Carl Reiner to come to Charlie’s house for Christmas dinner. Charlie shows Jake the rules of messing around on his girlfriend while she’s out of town.
9:30/8:30c: Mike & Molly - rerun
Mike takes Molly on a bowling date and gets a bruised ego in the process.
10/9c: Hawaii Five-0 - rerun
An escaped convict stalks a couple that won a million dollar prize and a trip to Hawaii. McGarrett’s estranged sister comes to town for a visit.
CW
8/7c: 90210 - rerun
When nightmares of her rape plague Naomi, she turns to sleeping pills. Teddy lands in a drunken hook up.
9/8c: Gossip Girl - rerun
A guest at Blair’s birthday party catches her off guard. Singer Robyn performs.
FOX
8/7c: Million Dollar Money Drop - premier
Kevin Pollack hosts this new game show. Contestants are given a million dollars first (I’d walk away right then, likely frowned upon), then must answer seven questions to get to keep the money.
NBC
8/7c: The Sing-Off - finale
The winning group is announced and surprise performances throughout the night.
10/9c: Perfect Couples - premier
Dave and Julia prepare for a night out to themselves. Rex and Leigh have trouble adjusting to the time difference in Italy.
10:30/9:30c: The Office - rerun
Michael gets the staffers worked up when rumors about Dunder MIfflin abound. The office staff begin to question Michael’s mental health. Andy continues to try and woo Erin, but fails.
A fun night on network TV, to say the least. Lots of comic relief headed our way. If you don’t feel like giggling, try the finale of The Sing-Off. It doesn’t matter if you missed the rest of the season, it was very short. Tune in for the great singing and the surprise acts are likely better than anything most of the reality talent shows have brought us. If you want a taste, here is the finale of the first season: The Sing-Off: Nota Wins the A Cappella Contest
