What’s on Network TV Tonight? (Monday 4/25/11)

Tonight is a mixture of new episodes and reruns. It’s a bit hit or miss. Even within each network there is a mix, so be sure to check closely to see if your show is new or not. On the plus side, I will say The Event is a new episode, and if you haven’t seen it yet it’s worth a shot.

Here’s what’s on network TV tonight:

8/7c: Dancing With the Stars - live
The celebrities dance to guilty pleasure songs. Also Hanson performs their hit “MmmBop.”

9:30/8:30c: Better With You - new episode
“Better With Dancing” - Casey and Mia take a dance class to prepare for their wedding. He finds out she can’t dance and she finds out he can very well.

10/9c: Castle - rerun
“Knockdown” - The detective who handled Beckett’s mom’s homicide case is killed before he can give her information on the case.

CBS
8/7c: How I Met Your Mother - rerun
“The Mermaid Theory” - Ted makes friends with Zoey’s husband and gets them all together to try and be friends.

8:30/7:30c: Mad Love - new episode
“The Young and the Reckless” - Ben attempts to hit on one of Connie’s friends. Ben and Kate plan an outing, but everything goes wrong.

9/8c: The Big Bang Theory - rerun
“The Love Car Displacement” - Howard and Bernadette run into her old boyfriend at a science event.

10/9c: Hawaii Five-0  - rerun
“Ke Kinohi” - When thieves break into Steve’s house they steal evidence from his mother’s murder case. McGarrett’s sister is kidnapped.

8/7c: 90210 - new episode
“Nerdy Little Secrets” - Naomi confronts Max about cheating at an academic event. Annie and an older actress bond.

9/8c: Gossip Girl - new episode
“Petty in Pink” - Charlie is asked to spy on Blair and Dan for Serena. Nate and Raina search for her mom. Chuck finds out some weird news about his father’s past.

FOX
8/7c: House - rerun
“A Pox on Our House” - When a bottle found in a shipwreck breaks in a girl’s hand she is diagnosed with small pox and the hospital is locked down by the CDC. Guest stars include Dylan Baker and Devon Woods.

9/8c: The Chicago Code - rerun
“Cabrini-Green” - A man blows up a building and has more targets lined up. Gibbons is the victim of a robbery by a teenager.

NBC
8/7c: Chuck - rerun
“Chuck Versus the Honeymooners” - Chuck and Sarah run into Spanish spies on a train, and attempt to apprehend them alone.

9/8c: The Event - new episode
“Strain” - A sudden illness invades the White House and Peel and Sterling investigate. Michael teams with Leila and Sean to stop Sophia from delivering the weapon to the U.S from Russia.

10/9c: Law & Order: Los Angeles - new episode
“Benedict Canyon” - A Hollywood stylist is gunned down prompting detectives to dig up her past. Khloe Kardashian guest stars.

Again, if you want a good dose of suspense and thrills give The Event a try. It won’t matter if you haven’t seen much of the back story. It’s the classic aliens vs. earthlings story, with a few twists, but it’s past most of the time jumping now. If you’ve been watching since the beginning prepare the edge of your seat for more action.
