What’s on Network TV Tonight? (9/19/10)

Sunday night means football on NBC. Tonight will be a good one, maybe even worth watching the whole game. The Colts play the Giants, so it’s a war of the Manning brothers. Always worth a look at least.

On ABC a rerun of “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” gets things started. At least there is still one family show on Sunday nights (besides football). Two new episodes of “The Gates” finish off the prime time line up. I haven’t seen “The Gates” yet, but it looks interesting.

It’s rerun night on CBS starting with a double dose of “Undercover Boss” at 8/7c. I like the show, sort of anyway. I think a camera crew following you around is not going to give you a real feel for you company. Makes for good drama and decent ratings though. We want to believe the boss cares. A rerun of “CSI: Miami” follows, getting situated on it’s new night. I think it’s a better fit for the spin off, but I still think it’s on it’s last leg.

Sunday nights on FOX are ‘fun with animation night’. Starting with “The Simpsons” at 8/7c, followed by three (count ‘em three) episodes of “Family Guy”. I’m so not a fan of “Family Guy” that it would be my hell to have to watch a single episode. I’ll pass.
