Woohoo! I’m so ready for the new fall season to get started tonight! Mondays have a great line up on network TV, so getting a schedule down my be difficult. I have a feeling I’ll be camped on NBC once the full new schedule rolls out.
The new season of “Dancing With the Stars” kicks off first on ABC at 8/7c. It’s a two hour event every Monday night till they give away the disco ball trophy. I’ll be turning you over to my friend Sherry Wight at AssociatedContent.com for the details. Sherry knows her DWTS stuff! A new episode of “Castle” ends the prime time night on ABC.
It’s comedy night on CBS with all new episodes starting with “How I Met Your Mother”, followed by “Rules of Engagement” (one of my favorites). The second hours goes to “Two and a Half Men” and the new series “Mike and Molly”. The new drama “Hawaii Five-0” settles in at 10/9c. I don’t know if I’ll like the remake of “Hawaii Five-0”, but I want to see “Mike and Molly”.
One of my favorite shows returns to Monday night, “Chuck” airs it’s new episode at 8/7c on NBC. The reason I’ll likely stay on NBC is to find out what the hell “The Event” is... though I likely won’t figure it out for a while. Hopefully it will keep me interested long enough. The evening ends with the premier of “Chase”, another new show I’ve been waiting for (and it's from Jerry Bruckheimer!). This should be a great night on NBC.
Then there is FOX, with a new episode of “House” at 8/7c, they aren’t making this an easy decision. The new series “Lonestar” follows, another good looking show. FOX is always good about getting their shows up online rather quickly. I appreciate their efforts.
My picks: "Chuck", "The Event" and "Chase" all on NBC
Looks like I’m going to have to have more than one television on tonight for all the good prime time action on network TV. The rest of the week looks just as good for choices. I think I love fall the best!
