What’s on Network TV Tonight? (9/25/10)

Cops: 20th Anniversary EditionFinally some breathing room after a week full of new episodes and season premieres! Yes, Saturday night on broadcast TV is for college football and reruns... and Cops on FOX. Let’s see what TV shows are airing tonight.

ABC
8/7c: College football: Oregon State Vs. Boise St
A battle of the NE on ABC’s Saturday night prime time football game. OSU leads the rivalry series overall, 4-2.

CBS
8/7c: Hawaii Five-0 - rerun of pilot episode
The remake of the popular classic, based on a police department in Hawaii. This one is worth checking out.



9/8c: Blue Bloods - rerun of pilot episode
A family of NYC cops. You can read my full review here.

10/9c: 48hrs Mystery - new episode
Serial killer Rodney Alcala, a one time contestant on The Dating Game,  is the focus.

FOX
8/7c: Cops - new episode
Busts in Vegas, Portland, OR and Florida are the highlights of the episode.

8:30/7:30c: Cops - rerun
Cops in Texas on a foot chase.

9/8c: America’s Most Wanted - new episode
Jose Garibay and Julio Ceja of Mendocina County, CA are featured with. Also, Robert King of Memphis and Paul Winklebeck of Oregon, are all featured fugitives.

NBC
8/7c: The Event - rerun of pilot episode
Definitely worth checking out if you miss the action shows. Read my full review/recap here.

9/8c: Chase - rerun of pilot episode
I was not a fan of the first episode of Chase, so watch it at your own risk.

10/9c: Law & Order: SVU - rerun of the first hour of the two hour premiere
I missed the first hour earlier in the week, so I’m glad to catch up here. Guest star Joan Cusak always adds a weird twist.

11:30/10:30c: Saturday Night Live - Live
Fresh from her Sesame Street shunning, Katy Perry is the musical guest on the 36th season opener of SNL. Amy Poehler hosts!
