Monday night is turning out to be a great night on network TV. Between the comedy on CBS and the drama and suspense on NBC, there is something for every TV fan. Sadly, the new FOX show Lonestar is the first victim of the cutting tools. It’s a tough night to compete for a new show, even for one starring David Keith.
Here’s what’s on network TV tonight:
ABC

Will Bruno apologize for his disparaging remarks to Michael Bolten last week? I doubt it. Watch your faves dance their hearts out (Go Florence Henderson!) live for your votes.
10/9c: Castle - new episode
Beckett has a romantic reunion with her ex-partner. Castle’s imagination runs wild when he finds encoded information during a murder investigation.
CBS

9:30/8:30c: Mike & Molly
Mike and Molly go on a bowling date. It does not end well for Mike.
10/9c: Hawaii Five-0 - new episode

9/8c: Lie to Me - new episode
Replacing the short-lived Lonestar is the return of Lie to Me. Season 3 starts with Tim trying to stop a bank robbery. Shawn Doyle guest stars.
NBC

9/8c: The Event - new episode
We meet a new detainee when the POTUS tries a new way to find out what the detainees’ plans are for us. Somewhere else Vicky is still holding a hostage.

The Event week 2 timeline
10/9c: Chase - new episode
Robert Knepper guest stars as a former mobster that goes back to his murdering ways after years of being on the run and living quietly.
I’ll definitely be watching Chuck and The Event, and I think I’ll check out Hawaii Five-0 for the end of the prime time night. I’m not enjoying the lovesick House nearly as much as the curmudgeonly one. I’m not fond of Cuddy, but I knew she would tame him eventually. House is still worth DVR space, or check it out online.
That’s what’s on network TV tonight, what are you going to watch?
