It's up to us now, to decide who will join Frado and Patrick in the finals for Biggest Loser 10. If you've been reading weekly, you know I'm on Team Ada. I think she most deserves her spot in the finals no matter who she were up against. Against Elizabeth, it is no contest in my mind.

Here is the recap of the last night at the Biggest Loser ranch and weigh-in:
Allison Sweeney gave each of the final four a DVD to take home and remember why they came to the ranch. Frado was also awarded a visit from celebrity Chef Curtis Stone, for losing the most weight at the last weigh-in. Then she wished them luck and sent the final four home for six weeks.
None of the participants looked confident. All suffered withdrawals from Biggest Loser ranch life and support. This is always the hardest part. The DVD's helped, as each watched with their families.
The one we waited for was Ada's family reunion. Her parents were there with all of her friends for the obligatory welcome home party. The seemed like normal reserved, strict parents as they hugged her. The DVD viewing was a little brutal to watch as an outsider. Watching her mother's hurt reaction to Ada's unhappiness with her life, and how she thought her parents felt about her. Her father remained gruff until he could sit silent no more.. interpreted to English he said, "I love you very much... it's Daddy's turn... I love you very much. When you left, I thought about you all day long." You could tell he meant it and that it was likely the most emotional he's been in years. The family hugged.
Bob or Jillian visited each of the contestants at their homes to encourage them and give them another workout. It seemed to kick each one into another gear and back on track.
Ada, Patrick, Frado and Elizabeth met up for the marathon with one goal... finishing. When finished, they got to give the charity of their choice a check for $10,000.
Ada had another goal. It was personal. She wanted to beat Tara Castro's record time for a Biggest Loser marathon. Jillian got her to focus on that goal in the gym, and she looked ready for the challenge. No one even noticed when she took off in the lead from the start.
Frado and Patrick chose to run the marathon together for the most part. They stayed side by side until Frado had to slow down. Patrick went in front of him, slapping each mile marker as if to claim it as his own.
Meanwhile, Elizabeth was trailing as expected. At the eight mile mark she commented that it was the first time she'd run that far (though it was mostly a fast walk). It was obvious she had not really trained for any sort of running, but she did finish and I give her plenty of credit for that.
Ada was on a pace to blow the old BL marathon record out of the water when an emergency struck. A bathroom emergency, that is. Bob joined Ada at mile 14 and she asked him what to do if she had to use the restroom. He told her, "a true marathon runner would just pee in their pants..." That was not going to happen.
*Pauses to think of how you would explain the suddenly wet footsteps to the TV cameras following behind you in such a situation....*
Ada chose to take a potty break when she saw some porta-potties on the side of the rode for field workers. Someone guarded the door.. and six minutes later she emerged refreshed. 6 minutes?! Did we really have to know that?
That six minutes did not matter one bit when it came to Ada crossing the finish line. Ada broke Tara's record with a new time of 4:38:46. Awesome!
Family members and friends joined each of the BL10 final four along the way to help them to the finish line. Patrick came in next, looking pretty strong. Frado and his family were next. Elizabeth finished in a time of 7:27, faster than I could do 26.2 miles. All got to donate $10,000 to their charity in the spirit of the Biggest Loser 10 "Pay It Forward" theme.
The final weigh-in was a bit of a surprise:
Contestant Starting Wt Final Wt Total Wt Loss
Elizabeth 192lbs 177lbs -15lbs/-67 overall
Frado 248lbs 221lbs -27lbs/-146lbs overall -
Ada 179lbs 167lbs -12lbs/-91lbs overall
Patrick 279lbs 244lbs -35lbs/-156lbs overall
Patrick is definitely the one to beat on Biggest Loser 10. It's his game to lose now. Bob Harper visited Patrick at home and told him to consider BL10 his job now, since his is unemployed. It's all or nothing for Patrick. His family needs the $250,000 paycheck at the end.
My heart is still on Team Ada, and I still think she's a contender. She doesn't have much left to lose, and I'm sure she'll hit her goal anyway. She already looks so much happier. That may have been the best prize Ada could win from Biggest Loser.
