What’s on Network TV Tonight? (12/27/10)

The network TV schedule is getting back on track, but tonight still only brings reruns. I guess it’s better than being stuck in an airport though, so I’ll keep quiet. Try the CBS comedy lineup to forget your troubles or get lost in a good movie.

8/7c: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - rerun
The re-make of the 1971 classic Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. A young boy gets the chance of a lifetime when he wins a ticket to tour a chocolate factory. Johnny Depp stars.
10/9c: Castle - rerun
When an extra body is found in a casket at a funeral Castle and Beckett investigate a local doctor.

CBS
8/7c: How I Met Your Mother - rerun
Marshall and Lilly do their own research on choosing the gender of your baby. Robin is frustrated with her new co-anchor.

8:30/7:30c: Rules of Engagement - rerun
Audrey decides to start her own cookie business. Timmy tries to fit in with the other guys.

9/8c: Two and a Half Men - rerun
Chelsea’s college friend returns and Allen has a surprising effect on one of his patients.

9:30/8:30c: Mike & Molly - rerun
After their 3rd date Molly invites Mike into her home, but gets turned down.

10/9c: Hawaii Five-0  - rerun
The teen daughters of the US Ambassador to the Philippines are kidnapped.  After one girl is found murdered the team kicks into high gear.

It’s auction night for charity and all the guys line up to be auctioned off. Annie tries to help Debbie with her financial situation.

9/8c: Gossip Girl - rerun
Blair and Chuck decide to just stay friends. Nate and Dan realize that they are both not yet over Serena.

FOX
8/7c: House - rerun
Amy Irving guest stars as a suicidal children’s book author. House thinks the key to her illness can be found in her latest book.

9/8c: Lie to Me - rerun
Cal has to face his past as he attempts to help a soldier back from Iraq and his family.

NBC
8/7c: Chuck - rerun
Season 4 opener where Chuck starts the search for his mother. Careful what you wish for Chuck.

9/8c: Chuck - rerun
Robert Englund guest stars as an evil scientist prepared to release an gas agent that induces nightmares.

10/9c: Chuck - rerun
After Chuck and Sarah get into their first fight Chuck goes on a rogue mission. He winds up meeting with another spy friend of his mother’s. Timothy Dalton guest stars.

Well, a marathon of Chuck is never a bad thing. I wish they would have chosen some earlier episodes though. If you haven’t had a chance to see the spy show yet, give it a chance tonight.
