Apparently the two teams were split into four tonight on BL11:
Red - Justin, Courtney and Jen
Black - Rulon, Hannah and the returning Jay
Green - Kaylee, Ken and Austin
Blue - Moses, Irene and Olivia
I missed why Jay was brought back, must have just been a new twist, but I know the black team had a hand in bringing him back.
The reward challenge was a strength/endurance affair. It looked brutal. It came down to the blue team and the red team. Justin lost his grip on a rope holding up weight and the ladies had to take up the slack for the red team. It seemed the blue team would win until Moses lost his grip and brought it down to a war of the ladies. Justin stood behind his team and quietly whispered encouragement. The red team won the challenge and a chance to video chat with their loved ones.
Courtney met with the dejected blue team players and told them that her team did not really need the prize and would give it to them. Classy.
Kaylee decided that she was ready to move on with her life. Most of the contestants are now feeling antsy as the season passes the midway point. Missing family, friends and a real life, they are all bored I'm sure. Kaylee really decided though. She sounded like she wanted to be sure. I'm not convinced she's ready to leave the BL11 ranch. She even told her trainer good-bye.
At the final weigh-in, the team with the lowest percentage of weigh loss would lose one member to be voted off by all the other teams.
Hannah and Rulon came through for the black team. Jay was immune, having just been brought back so the other two had to make up his weight. Rulon only lost 5 lbs, even after Jillian and Bob literally rode him most of the day. It was enough to keep them safe.
Olivia and Irene came through for the blue team when Moses only posted a 3lb loss. Each of the ladies lost 5lbs, enough to keep them safe this week on BL11.
Courtney posted a 3lb weight loss this week, which put her over 200lbs total (89 at the Biggest Loser ranch). With Justin only posting a 2lb loss this week, things looked bleak for our heroes. Justin said, "I'm disappointed, but there's no shame in losing weight." He's right, of course. It just sucks.
Kaylee got up on the scale with her voicing from earlier, "I asked my team to do something really hard tonight..." Then she posted a zero weight loss for the week. Obviously she asked them to throw the weigh in for her. Not fair at all. If you want to leave the Biggest Loser Ranch, just leave. Don't ask others to sabotage their weight loss for you. She then made a big speech after weighing in stating she was ready to leave.
Austin weighed in and the team needed to lose less than 6lbs to be in last place and keep the red team (all of whom wanted to be at the ranch), safe. Ken stepped up and lost 7lbs and Kaylee sobbed. Ken looked stunned. The green team was safe.
He started to sort of explain that the only way Kaylee was allowed to leave the Biggest Loser ranch tonight was if they lost the weigh in....
Allison Sweeney quickly corrected Ken, "This is not a prison, you can leave the Biggest Loser ranch anytime... if you want to leave, it will have no bearing on this game." Allison looked offended. She told Kaylee she could leave tonight, but someone from the red team would still be voted off BL11 tonight.
Moses asked if he could talk to his daughter, and was allowed to talk some sense into Kaylee. She decided to stay, though still sobbing. The red team would have to lose a member tonight. It was obvious Justin would fall on his sword. He did.
Justin asked to be the one voted out tonight to keep Courtney and Jen on their weight loss journeys. He's a great guy and is doing just fine on his own. On the update Justin looked fantastic and is down to 225lbs. He's lost a total of 140lbs and is paying it forward to his friends and family.
What did you think of the Biggest Loser tonight? Tear-jerker again!
