What’s on Network TV Tonight? (Friday 3/18/11)

Ask Supernanny: What Every Parent Wants to KnowHappy Friday to one and all! As a treat we get to see a lot of new episodes on network TV tonight. March Madness fans also get to continue their basketball brackets and will likely be tuned to CBS throughout the weekend.

Here’s what’s on network TV tonight:

ABC
8/7c: Supernanny - new episode
This is the series finale for the family show, focusing on a grieving widow trying to raise his three young boys with the rules set up by their mom before her death. Sad to see this show leaving.

9/8c: Primetime: What Would You Do? - new episode
Find out what happens when a mom favors one daughter over another, and a person with a service dog is confronted by other patrons.

10/9c: 20/20 - new episode
An interview with American Idol alum turned superstar Jennifer Hudson. Also an investigation of two murders suspected to have been inspired by the TV show “Dexter.”

CBS
8/7c: NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament - live

CW
8/7c: Smallville - rerun

9/8c: Supernatural - reurn

FOX
8/7c: Kitchen Nightmares - new episode

9/8c: Fringe - new episode

NBC
8/7c: Who Do You Think You Are? - rerun

9/8c: Dateline NBC - new episode
The first segment focuses on an acrimonious divorce case. The second half investigates the murder of a mother and her baby.

I’m really sad about this being the final night for Supernanny. It seems like the decent and educational shows always bear the brunt of lower ratings. I wish they could try another night or network for this one. Though 20/20 has posted a regular program, they are subject to change if news in Japan changes.

That’s a pretty good start for network TV going into the weekend. So, what are you watching on TV tonight?
