Ah, weekends and network TV, they go together like watermelon and peanut butter. Tonight is a special night though. There’s going to be a supermoon! Maybe that will whip up a perfect storm of good television for us. Let’s just see.Here’s what’s on network TV tonight:

9/8c: America’s Most Wanted - new episode
A serial murderer is hunted for the execution of victims in Daytona Beach in 2005 and 2008. Also the search is on for Bobby Thompson who stole millions from people by setting up a fake fund for veterans.

9/8c: Law & Order: Los Angeles - rerun
10/9c: Law & Order: SVU - rerun
Okay, so yeah, not a perfect storm of shows, but not a complete loss either. The reruns on NBC are worth a second look (or first if you missed them). Let me say right now that my patience is wearing thin with Law & Order: Los Angeles. If they plan to kill off Skeet Ulrich’s character, which apparently they have done, I will likely no longer watch the show.
That’s it for network TV tonight. If it’s clear in your area tonight make sure and go outside to check out the “supermoon”…. don’t know what that is? It’s a huge full moon passing close to earth, so prepare for massive weirdness if nothing else! In the meantime, what are you watching on TV?
