What’s on Network TV Tonight? (Thursday 4/07/11)

With all of the great new TV shows that were on last night I almost need a breather… almost. We don’t get one tonight. CBS offers a full night of new episodes, so do FOX and the CW (finally!). Looks like the DVR’s are going to take another beating tonight!

Here’s what’s on network TV tonight:

ABC
8/7c: Wipeout - rerun

9/8c: Grey’s Anatomy - rerun

10/9c: Private Practice - rerun

CBS
8/7c: The Big Bang Theory - new episode
Physicist Brian Greene has a cameo appearance. Sheldon and Amy conduct an experiment by spreading rumors.

8:30/7:30c: Rules of Engagement - new episode
Jeff and Audrey find out that Brenda is pregnant. Adam and Jen have Timmy plan their wedding.

9/8c: CSI - new episode
Melinda Clarke guest stars as Lady Heather (now a doctor). When a woman is mauled to death by a mountain lion the CSI’s discover she was injured first. Nick helps rescue an unborn baby from a girl that appears to have committed suicide.

10/9c: The Mentalist - new episode
Jane suspects a wife in the killing of her husband who is the owner of a matchmaking company.

CW
8/7c: Vampire Diaries - new episode
Matt tells the sheriff that his sister was killed by a vampire. Jenna is upset when Isobel has an unexpected visit.

9/8c: Nikita - new episode
Nikita must find out who killed Michael’s family in less than 24hrs or he will tell Percy that Alex is the mole.

FOX
8/7c: American Idol - live elimination
We find out who is the next to leave on the live AI elimination show. Constantine Maroulis performs.

9/8c: Bones - new episode
When seven pairs of dismembered feet are found Brennan teams up with a Canadian forensic podiatrist to solve the case.

NBC
8/7c: Community - rerun

8:30/7:30c: Perfect Couples - new episode

9/8c: The Office - rerun

9:30/8:30c: Parks and Recreation - rerun

10/9c: 30 Rock - rerun

10:30/9:30c: Outsourced - new episode

Like I said, it’s going to be another great night of new episodes on network TV. If you are disappointed in the reruns on ABC and NBC, take this opportunity to check out a new show. You can’t go wrong with the early comedy on CBS, and if you don’t mind the strong story lines I highly recommend CSI too.

If you missed American Idol last night, you can read the recap here. I also listed who I think will be in the bottom three tonight, but it’s such a tough season it could be anyone of the nine finalists going home tonight. Don’t miss a minute of the drama!

So, what are you watching on network TV tonight?
