What’s on Network TV Tonight? (Thursday 5/05/11)

Well it’s another night of all new episodes on every channel. It’s getting tough to make any evening plans that don’t involve the TV. Everyone should be happy tonight with comedy, drama and reality TV all airing at some point during prime time.

“White Wedding” - Callie and Arizona are finding out that even the best laid wedding plans go wrong. Alex remains a standout in the competition for chief resident.

What’s on Network TV Tonight? (Saturday 4/09/11)

No surprise that tonight offers a dose of reruns, but at least they aren’t on every channel. Racing fans will be happy to see a prime time NASCAR race. Movie fans may be happy to see a rebroadcast of a movie. Okay, that last one is technically a rerun too.

What’s on Network TV Tonight? (Thursday 4/07/11)

With all of the great new TV shows that were on last night I almost need a breather… almost. We don’t get one tonight. CBS offers a full night of new episodes, so do FOX and the CW (finally!). Looks like the DVR’s are going to take another beating tonight!

What’s on Network TV Tonight? (Thursday 3/31/11)

American Idol: 10th Anniversary - The Hits Volume 1All kinds of new episodes are filling network TV in prime time tonight. Only NBC and CW are on rerun patrol still. Some new shows are starting tonight too. Namely Howie Mandel’s new show “Mobbed” starts it’s run. It looks like it could be a fun show. Check it out if you get the chance. Grey’s Anatomy fans will be happy to know they get a new episode tonight too.

American Idol: 10th Anniversary - The Hits Volume 1Thursdays are a little strange for me now that Survivor has moved to Wednesday nights on network TV. One thing we can count on though, someone’s going home from American Idol. There is comedy and a little bit of drama for those that aren’t into reality TV.

Peanuts: Happy New Year Charlie Brown (Slip) [VHS]Another night of reruns on network TV, but at least there is comedy to watch. Both CBS and NBC are running their nearly normal comedy lineups. At least if you missed any of your favorite shows this is the time to catch up. We’ll be up to our necks in new shows soon enough.

CSI: NY - The Sixth SeasonHappy Friday! Can I get a big ...WOOT! Maybe not so much for the TV schedule as just for the day in general. The prime time line up is not too bad tonight either. Only a few reruns. Most of the regular shows are airing new episodes (not for us Medium fans though).

Tonight Donald Trump will crown a winner on The Apprentice. CBS and NBC go head to head for comedy lovers, and ABC runs holiday specials and Barbara Walters. There are also new episodes of your favorites on FOX and the CW. With winter storms gearing up in the Midwest US, it’s a perfect night to snuggle up and watch some TV.

Saturday nights have become the night to catch up on any network TV shows we’ve missed during the week. For once I’m not upset by reruns, since there are so many good shows on opposite each other right now. I record some, but I still enjoy watching my favorites in prime time whether it’s a rerun or not.
