What’s on Network TV Tonight? (10/16/10)

Part 2 took place in New YorkImage via Wikipedia
Saturday nights have become the night to catch up on any network TV shows we’ve missed during the week. For once I’m not upset by reruns, since there are so many good shows on opposite each other right now. I record some, but I still enjoy watching my favorites in prime time whether it’s a rerun or not.

Here’s what’s on network TV tonight:

ABC
8/7c: NASCAR: Sprint Cup in Concord, NC

CBS
8/7c: CSI: NY - rerun
Four bodies are found in a hotel room and a friend of the fallen four is found walking around the city covered in their blood and carrying an axe.

9/8c: The Metalist - rerun
Rigsby goes undercover to investigate a double murder at a high school reunion.

10/9c: 48hrs Mystery - new episode
The investigation on the release and conviction that was overturned of Bruce Lisker. Lisker was convicted of the 1983 murder of his mother in Sherman Oaks, CA, he was released and the charges dripped in 2009.

CW shows local programming on the weekends

FOX
8/7c: MLB Play-offs Game 1: Giants at Phillies
MLB San Francisco Giants The Liberation Hooded Fleece Pullover, Black/Granite/White, LargePhiladelphia Phillies 2010 Alternate MLB Replica Jersey
NBC
8/7c: Outlaw - new episode
Garza is forced to push personal feelings aside when an enemy’s daughter is wrongfully charged with murder.

9/8c: Law & Order: Los Angeles - rerun
A pro surfer is murdered and the detectives find that someone close to him has more information than they are willing to share.

10/9c: Law & Order: SVU
Detectives investigate what turns out to be a human trafficking ring. Cragen is disgusted by the shape of the police station, as it’s falling down around them.

Sports fans should be happy with tonight’s line up. After a day of college football, NASCAR and baseball fans will delight in the prime time line up on ABC and FOX.

Don’t get too excited about the new episode of Outlaw tonight, NBC has finally canceled the sappy legal drama. The move to Saturday nights will be short lived until the new episodes have aired.

I’m most upset that the rerun of Law & Order: SVU is not the episode from Wednesday night. I did not get to see it since it runs opposite Criminal Minds now and have gotten spoiled by getting a second chance on Saturday nights. Now they dig out an older episode this week instead. Sad.

Looks like a night of DVD’s or channel surfing for me tonight. What are you going to watch on network TV tonight?
