What’s on Network TV Tonight? (11/13/10)

Saturday nights mean college football for ABC viewers. It’s pretty much catch up time for the rest of the networks, unless you are a fan of Outlaw. If that is you, I don’t think you have much time left to watch your show! FOX has a new episode of Cops! too if you’re into that.

Saturday nights have become the night to catch up on any network TV shows we’ve missed during the week. For once I’m not upset by reruns, since there are so many good shows on opposite each other right now. I record some, but I still enjoy watching my favorites in prime time whether it’s a rerun or not.

Friday night brings another new line up for network TV, this has been a great week. Let’s see how we finish off the week.

ABC: Well, not a new line up on every channel, but a great chance to catch up.
8/7c: Modern Family - repeat of season premiere

8:30/7:30c: Better With You - repeat of pilot episode

"Outlaw" Review: Is Jimmy Smits' New Show a Hit or a Miss?

I only gave "Outlaw" a look because of Jimmy Smits, I won't make that mistake again.Sadly, I can no longer depend on his presence to mean great acting on TV. Not even close.

The trailers for "Outlaw" did not really entice me. Probably the lamest premise in the history of network TV. Smits plays a conservative supreme court judge moved to return to law as a defense attorney for those wrongly accused. That's not the lame part (it's the unbelievable television part). What's lame is the liberal soapbox Smit's character gets on, and won't get off. Even Smits seems to not like it.
