Wednesday’s mean American Idol, at least in my world. If that doesn’t satisfy your TV needs tonight, there are quite a few new episodes on too. FOX is premiering a new show and there’s also a new episode of Criminal Minds so set your DVRs accordingly!

Here’s what’s on network TV tonight:

ABC
8/7c: The Middle - rerun

8:30/7:30c: The Middle - rerun

9/8c: Modern Family - rerun

9:30/8:30c: Mr. Sunshine - new episode

10/9c: Off the Map - new episode
Season one finale: “There’s a Lot to Miss About the Jungle” A truck float puts a damper on the Holy Week celebration. Ben has to make a decision due to Ryan’s failing health.

CBS
8/7c: Survivor: Redemption Island - new episode
It’s time for the merge! Matt and Sarita battle it out on Redemption Island with the winner returning to the game.

9/8c: Criminal Minds - new episode
The team struggles to come to terms with the loss of Prentiss and search for a killer in Tampa.

10/9c: Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior - new episode
The team is on the hunt for a serial killer in Oklahoma City.

CW
8/7c: America’s Next Top Model - new episode

9/8c: Shedding for the Wedding - new episode

FOX
8/7c: American Idol - live
The top nine perform songs from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Jeff Beck, the amazing guitarist, accompanies the Idol hopefuls. This one should be good!

9:30/8:30c: Breaking In - new episode
The pilot of this new show has the boost of the post Idol slot. It’s a comedy about a high tech security company starring Christian Slater. Bret Harrison also stars and Adam Sandler is the producer.

NBC
8/7c: Minute to Win It - new episode

9/8c: Law & Order: SVU - rerun
David Alan Grier and Jason Wiles guest star. Two men are beaten and branded on their chest.

10/9c: Law & Order: SVU - new episode
Terrance Howard appears from Law & Order: Los Angeles. A rape case turns up family vengeance and Casey Novak returns to try the case.

This turns out to be a really great night on network TV. Who needs cable with this many new shows on? Remember to set the DVR so you don’t miss a single episode tonight. The new FOX show Breaking In may be worth checking out. Christian Slater is always creepy and good.  Any night is good when both Criminal Minds and Law & Order: SVU are new episodes.

So, what are you watching on TV tonight?
