4th Leg of The Amazing Race 16: Jeff & Jordan Saved by Non-Elimination

Reality TV stars Jeff & Jordan were saved from elimination in this leg of TAR. The couple came in last place, but it was a non-elimination round so they start last with a speed bump (extra task) in the next leg. Whew!

This week The Amazing Race competition moved through Germany, with the cowboy team of Jet & Cord starting first. This leg would prove much more difficult for the adapting cowboys though.

Brandy & Carol formed a strong alliance with Dan & Jordan, but they missed the first bus right off the start. It was not a devistating blow, but it did hurt their finish.

This leg of TAR was a bungee jumping, sauer kraut eating, beer drinking race to the next pit stop. As you would expect, it was not always pretty. There was also a soccer ball kicking challenge, which the cowboys surprisingly did quite well.

When it comes to eating and drinking beer, the police detectives excelled far above the rest. "I've eaten things as big as Jet & Cord, so this was nothing!" said Michael of the Louie & Michael team. They finished first in this leg of the race, an amazing feat since they started the leg in dead last.

Jeff & Jordan had direction trouble from the start, and surprisingly enough none of it was their fault. Jordan relied on Caite (of Brent & Caite) to get them to the bungee jump. In a twist the teams had to pair up with another team for this new challenge. Jordan followed Caite right onto the wrong subway putting them behind early. Then an errant cabbie took them completely out of this leg with a bad GPS system. Jeff tried to get them back in the beer drinking competition and likely shaved valuable minutes off their time. Atta boy!

The final standings for the 4th leg of TAR 16:
1. Louie & Michael
2. Steve & Allie
3. Joe & heidi
4. Jet & Cord
5. Carol & Brandy
6. Dan & Jordan
7. Brent & Caite
8. Jeff & Jordan (Speed bump in next leg)
