Survivor Heroes Vs. Villains: Cirie gets the first blindside from the Heroes tribe

Tonight started on the Villain's camp of Survivor misfits. Coach "the Dragonslayer" had a meltdown. This mighty man was ready to pack up his toys and go home after the smallest of harsh words from Sandra at tribal council. With an astonished and embarrassed looking Tyson looking on, Coach started his crying tirade in the woods.

I got the feeling I was watching a scene from "That 70's Show" were Hyde teaches Fez how to be cool as Tyson hugged Coach and said, "I'm going to tell you some things to help you out." Then Tyson proceeded to tell Coach to "stop wearing feathers in your hair at tribal council, and do your Tai Chi somewhere in private. They are mocking you, man."

Coach took the pep talk from Tyson like a baby and proceeded to tell Sandra his every waking moment the next morning at camp to keep her aware of his presence. Boston Rob finally had enough and pulled Coach to the woods to chat. "I feel like I'm on the out's with this team," said Coach. Boston Rob reassured him in the only way Rob knows how. Then told him to "hold your f***ing head up and act like a man!" Atta boy Rob.

Not much happening yet in the land of unicorns and Heroes. So off we go to the first Reward Challenge. With tree mail the Survivor tribes got a Sears catalog of sorts (commercial for Sears camping gear). They picked the items they wanted most and played for that. The Heroes played for fishing equipment and cooking supplies. The Villains played for tent building equipment and tools.

The Reward Challenge was very easy with a slip and slide to a numbered ball then a simple toss in a basket. The Villains came out ahead in a heated battle that was tied to the end. The victorious Villains took their loot and headed home.

When the Villains went through their loot, Evil Russell flipped a note out of the knife sheath (oops!). It was a clue to the hidden immunity idol hidden somewhere at camp. Immediately they (led by Sandra) decided that whoever finds it better destroy it or be marked for elimination at the next tribal council. Evil Russell could not help himself and soon wandered off, trailed by Sandra to look for the Hidden Immunity Idol. We did not see him find it.

At the Heroes camp, the note for the Hidden Immunity Idol was found by the tribe in their coffee stash. The race was on to find the idol. Tom found it, but Amanda saw him slip it into his sock. Tom and Colby needed the Idol for leverage against the alliance of six. Everyone knew Tom had the Idol, and no one talked about the future.

The Immunity Challenge was a replay of the giant hamster ball, famous for being the only Survivor Challenge never completed. This was the challenge that took out Good Russell from last season. To be fair, Russell was sick prior to the competition. This was an easy challenge for the Villains with Boston Rob in the hamster ball. He had to guide two blindfolded teammates to a giant table, then guide four blindfolded teammates on a giant maze game. The Heroes did their best and were so close in the end. Villains win Immunity!

Tom and Colby immediately started to stratigise with J.T., who truly cannot play the bad guy role. It's obvious he feels bad about betraying Tom at Tribal Council. So they decided to just vote out Candice, who no one trusts anyway. When Amanda brought the news to Cirie and the rest of the alliance, Cirie went nuts. She was positive you need to eliminate Colby or Tom tonight, and talked the rest into voting for Tom and Colby. Tom plays his Idol and Colby goes home. Tom keeps his Idol and he goes home or Colby goes home.

J.T. came to Tom and Colby with the bad new about Cirie. Tom laid it all on J.T.'s shoulders to stay true to them and vote off Cirie or stay with his other alliance. J.T. shockingly (not really) went with Tom and Colby, blindsiding Cirie at Tribal Council. It made sense for the tribe, it made sense for J.T. He needs to keep Tom in the game, and the team needs all of the men for challenges. I don't think there will be much backlash for him back at camp. Nice play J.T., but I am sorry to see Cirie go.
