Last Comic Standing 2010 Finale: Filipe Esparza Wins $250,000

The winner of Last Comic Standing was crowned tonight... eventually. First viewers were forced to sit through two hours of what proved to be not-so-funny-comedy.

Having watched the entire season of Last Comic Standing, short as it was, I was ready for a funny finale. Maybe that was my mistake, but I don't think so. What I got instead was a two hour bore-fest of comedians, most of whom I did not know and will never look up now, and Kathy Griffin. Thank God for Kathy Griffin... a sentence I thought I would never type.

Not only were we subjected to three judges giving useless comments throughout this season of Last Comic Standing, but tonight we had to sit through three very un-funny sets from them. I'm almost personally angry with Greg Giraldo for making think he was the funny guy on the panel. Turns out none of the judges are good standup comedians.

The eliminations were another story. I think this may be the big joke of the night. The comedians went home in the following order:

5th Place: Myq Kaplan (um, are you kidding me?)

4th Place: Mike Destefano (quote of the night, "To my fans, thank you and to those that didn't vote for me f**k you!")

3rd Place: Roy Wood Jr. (ok, now I know it's rigged)

2nd Place: Tommy Johnagin (*bangs head on keyboard*)

Craig Robinson did show a video of the vote counters, Fred Willard and Doug Benson. So I guess the moral of tonight's Last Comic Standing finale is: don't piss off Fred Willard. Now who do I see about getting back those two hours of my life?
