What’s on Network TV Tonight? (Friday 5/06/11)

Wow, this week went by fast! Sorry if yours did not do the same, but maybe some good TV shows will get the weekend off to a good start for you.  The worst part of the night is that there are so many new shows on it’s going to be hard to pick which to watch. Hopefully that’s the biggest worry for this weekend. One note: Flashpoint fans, the show returns tonight on CBS!

Here’s what’s on network TV tonight:

ABC
8/7c: Shark Tank - new episode
Mark Cuban joins the sharks and gives the entrepreneurs an interesting set of instructions if they want to work with him. Candles for men, a new wedding item and an eco-friendly way to listen to music are on the line for the sharks.

9/8c: Primetime: What Would You Do? - new episode
A woman lies about her looks to a sightless blind date, a person eats produce while shopping in the store.

10/9c: 20/20 - new episode
“Kill Shot: The Story Behind Bin Laden’s Death” - A full review of the operation that ended the reign of terror of Osama Bin Laden. A up close  profile of the Navy Seal unit that conducted the raid.

CBS
8/7c: Flashpoint - new episode
“Collateral Damage” - A suspect escapes from a transport van where he’s being transferred after being accused of killing his daughter. Ed finds out his wife is at the hospital in danger of losing their baby.

9/8c: CSI: NY - new episode
“Life Sentence” - Mac and his old partner become the target of an old vendetta. Peter Fonda guest stars.

10/9c: Blue Bloods - new episode
“Cellar Boy” - The drug addicted son of a couple is the prime suspect after they are found murdered. Jamie thinks he’s being set up when his gun is stolen.

CW
8/7c: Smallville - new episode
“Prophecy” - As a wedding gift Jor-El gives Lois the powers of Clark for the day. It’s Lois who must stop Toyman when he returns to Metropolis and causes trouble.

9/8c: Supernatural - new episode
“The Man Who Would Be King” - Castiel tells Sam and Dean the story of the war in heaven, but Bobby isn’t buying the story.

FOX
8/7c: Kitchen Nightmares - new episode
“Capri” - Chef Ramsay is off to Eagle Rock in Los Angeles to help Capri, an Italian restaurant.

9/8c: Fringe - new episode
“The Day We Died” - One team member meets their demise and Peter faces his destiny head on in the third season finale.

NBC
8/7c: Friday Night Lights - new episode
“Keep Looking” - Eric has to mediate problems in the team locker room. A new player joins the Lions’ team.

9/8c: Dateline NBC - new episode
The bathtub drowning of a 24 year old woman in 2008 is re-investigated by Dennis Murphy. The woman’s husband, Ryan Widmer, is the main interview as the suspect of the murder.

It’s official, this is going to be one of the best nights for network TV of the entire week. No reality TV, aside from a couple of news based shows, and lots of well written drama. Be sure to set your DVR accordingly so you don’t miss a single minute of the new episodes.

If you know me at all you know I love Shark Tank on Friday nights. Now things will get tricky since Flashpoint is my other favorite show on network TV. The audacity of CBS and ABC to work together so I can’t watch both at their regular air times. Decisions, decisions!

So, what are you watching on network TV tonight?
