What's on Network TV Tonight? (01/21/2014)

Here we are back at Tuesday! Tonight it's a mix of reruns and new shows. CBS has a rerun line up, but if you love NCIS I guess that's alright. Nearly everything else is a new episode so let's get to it.

Here's what's on TV tonight:

ABC
8/7c: Marvel's Agents of SHIELD - rerun
9/8c: The Goldbergs - new
"You Opened the Door" - Murray has the sex talk with Barry and it doesn't quite go as planned.

9:30/8:30c: Trophy Wife - new
"The Tooth Fairy" - Hillary hosts a sleepover and Diane helps her out.

10/9c: Killer Women - new
"Warrior" - A war veteran becomes a modern day Robin Hood to try to find the glory she had while in the field. Becca thinks Billy is having an affair.
CBS
8/7c: NCIS - rerun

9/8c: NCIS: Los Angeles - rerun

10/9c: Person of Interest - rerun

FOX
8/7c: Dads - new
"Bully Gene" - Eli gets bullied by the son of the woman he's dating.  Meanwhile, picks a fight so he can sleep on the couch.

8:30/7:30c: Brooklyn Nine-Nine - new
"The Ebony Falcon" - Terry learns how to control his emotions in the field. Someone breaks into Gina's apartment and the team investigates.

9/8c: New Girl - new
"Birthday" - Nick makes plans to throw Jess the perfect birthday bash. Meanwhile, Coach and Winston compete in a bake-off.

9:30/8:30c: The Mindy Project - new
"The Desert" - After breaking up with Nick, Mindy finds herself in the desert. Her plan is for Danny to take her to the airport, but he has other plans.

NBC
8/7c: The Biggest Loser - new
Tim Gunn returns to makeover the remaining contestants before they get to spend time with friends and family. Later two contestants go home and the final five are revealed.

10/9c: Chicago Fire - new
"Tonight's the Night" - A power outage leaves the neighborhood in darkness on a cold night so the firefighters help out.

CW
8/7c: The Originals - new
"Apres Moi, le Deluge" - Sophie comes up with a desperate plan to save Davina when she becomes extremely ill.

9/8c: Supernatural - new
"First Born" - Crowley wants to reclaim his place as king of hell, but he can't without a special blade that Cain controls.

That's it for network primetime TV. Not a bad night for a Tuesday. I recommend The Biggest Loser, always, for its motivational value. Not into that? Try Brooklyn Nine-Nine for some big laughs. The Mindy Project is always good for at least a chuckle or two. The late spot is a toss up for me. I'm not a huge fan of Supernatural, but I've yet to watch Chicago Fire or Killer Women yet so I can't judge. Try them both and see which you like best! See you tomorrow.
