What’s on Network TV Tonight? (11/01/10)

Chuck: The Complete First SeasonIt’s finally November, or ‘month of the turkey’ here in the States. The biggest bonus of the month is that there is only one more day of political attack ads on TV. Just one more day and it’s all over... at least for two more years.

Here’s what’s on network TV tonight:

ABC
8/7c: Dancing With the Stars - live
The seventh week of DWTS is also the 200th episode. 50 former contestants return to pay tribute to the show and the current contestants compete in a team dance.
10/9c: Castle - new episode
Castle and Beckett respond to an officer down call only to find the body of a stripper dressed as a cop. The team then have to focus on the life of the struggling actor.

CBS
8/7c: How I Met Your Mother - new episode
Zoey tries to sway Ted’s students into saving the Arcadian after signing up for his class.

8:30/7:30c: Rules of Engagement - new episode
Russell and Timmy go on a double date. Jeff and Adam make up a new game to play with mannequin heads.

9/8c: Two and a Half Men - new episode
Charlie’s new girlfriend is having trouble adjusting to Rose, Charlie’s long term stalker.

9:30/8:30c: Mike & Molly - new episode
Carl gives Mike relationship advice after Mike and Molly spend the weekend together.

10/9c: Hawaii Five-0 - new episode
A hostage situation develops on the USS Missouri Memorial ship when a Navy SEAL is suspected of murder. McGarrett relies on his Navy training to get through the situation.

CW
8/7c: 90210 - new episode
Naomi presses charges against Mr. Cannon and Oscar ends up helping her case. Ivy tells Dixon her secret about having slept with Oscar.

9/8c: Gossip Girl - new episode
A certain party guest catches Blair off guard at her party. Singer Robyn sings.

FOX
8/7c: House - rerun
Rerun of the season 7 premiere. House and Cuddy explore their feelings for each other.

9/8c: Lie to Me - rerun

NBC
8/7c: Chuck - new episode
Timothy Dalton guest stars as Chuck’s mom’s spy handler. Chuck and Sara have their first fight and afterward Chuck goes off on a rogue mission.

9/8c: The Women of SNL - new special
A two hour special highlighting the women comedy stars of SNL over the years. Look for clips and interviews of some of the funniest ladies of comedy.

Apparently NBC thinks we need a break from The Event. At least that’s all it is I hope. It may be a mistake since the show moves so fast it’s already difficult to keep up with. With a week to check out other shows in that time slot it may hurt the show.

FOX will not start running new episodes until after the World Series, so we can expect another week of reruns when there is no baseball. So, what are you going to watch on TV tonight?
