What’s on Network TV Tonight? (12/06/10)

Monday night won’t be boring this week. Every network has new episodes to offer and even an awards show for country music lovers. The Sing-Off kicks off as well! Sit back, relax and grab your favorite couch cushion for TV watching.

Here’s what’s on network TV tonight:

ABC
8/7c: Skating With the Stars - live
The third week of live skating includes the celebrities and their partners telling a story with their routine. They also must complete a jump (prepare for the falls!). Tanith Belbin and Ben Agosto also perform.

9:30/8:30c: Modern Family - new episode
Phil helps Luke find his hidden talents, whatever they may be. Manny’s interest in fencing spreads to the rest of the family.

10/9c: Castle - new episode
Prohibition comes to the forefront when a former dock worker turned bar owner takes Castle and the team into the underground city tunnels to investigate.


CBS
8/7c: How I Met Your Mother - new episode
Ted meets Zoey’s husband, “The Captain”, and hopes they can all be friends. He schedules time for them to spend all together.

8:30/7:30c: Rules of Engagement - new episode
Russell gets a lesson on budgeting from Timmy after his utilities are shut off in his apartment. Audrey become a mentor in the publishing business.

9/8c:Two and a Half Men - new episode
Alan is ashamed he can’t afford an expensive gift for Lindsey. He gets creative to make her the best gift he can imagine.

9:30/8:30c: Mike & Molly - new episode
Mike gets the chance to know Molly’s mom and sister better by spending more time at their place. Carl uses Mike’s place for dates while he’s away at Molly’s.

10/9c: Hawaii Five-0  - new episode
The team look for a killer that struck a year ago and seems to be back. A man is murdered on his honeymoon and his wife is abducted.

8/7c: 90210 - new episode
Victor tells Adrianna’s secrets to the press at the same time she plans a huge holiday celebration. The hook-ups continue as Annie and Liam meet in Dixon’s bed.

9/8c: Gossip Girl - new episode
Blair and Dan must put aside their differences to look for Juliet. Chuck thinks Lily is being less than honest with him.

FOX
8/7c: American Country Awards - live
This is the first ever offering from the new fan-voted country music award show. Trace Adkins hosts and performs with a parade of the best country acts of right now.

NBC
8/7c: The Sing-Off - new episode
The season two premiere kicks off with the next ten groups performing “I’ve Got the Music in Me” followed by a song of their own choice. Eliminations follow next week.

10/9c: Chase - new episode
Annie and Luke chase a murderous escapee from a county courthouse. The villain leave a wake of destruction in his path to find his girlfriend and best friend.

Thank you, NBC, for replacing two great shows, Chuck and The Event, with another great show, The Sing-Off. I really enjoyed the first season of The Sing-Off and am sure I’ll have fun covering this season too. Bonus: I get to enjoy the geeky hotness of Ben Folds!
