Big Brother 9 Season Finale - CBS Live Sunday 8/7c 4/27/08

Who Won BB9? Find Out
CBS Sunday 8/7c 4/27/08

Who could have possibly guessed this pair as the Final 2 contestants in the Big Brother 9 house. Ryan and Adam outplayed all others this season on the CBS reality show to get to the finals tonight live.

The jury consists of:
Sheila, Natalie, Sharon, Matt, James, Joshuah, and Chelsia.

Ryan has truly earned his spot in the Top 2, Adam is a lesser expected finalist.

During the question and answer part, Adam said that he would start an after school program for all of the children at home (which is the only reason he is in the game)... awwwww.

Ryan definitely took the hit on this part of the show. Venom spewed his way from Chelsia and Sharon. Not surprisingly, Ryan's relationship with Jen came into play and may cost him the game.

Sheila took her opportunity to jump all over Adam, who fought back and may lose her vote because of it.

Ryan made a good closing argument, saying that he had not personally ripped on anyone person throughout the game. He admitted that he had done things in the house that he would never do to his friends, that's just the game.

Adam gets so defensive and crazy eyes that he turns everybody against him. A-baller is not a good liar.

Ryan should win if the jury can avert their eyes from Jen, his girlfriend and ex-BB9 House guest. She may be the one reason that Ryan doesn't win.

The voting went in this order:
Matt, Natalie, Joshuah, Sharon, Sheila, James, Chelsia

James got a laugh at his statement, "I hope you guys party away this money!"

Next, Julie Chen showed the Jury members some footage of life in the BB9 house that they had not seen (always a fun segment of the show).

Matt gave a preemptive apology to Natalie for everything that she is about to see. The early evicted BB9 house guests were reunited. Jen and Amanda's hateful relationship was revisited - showing Jen saying she still strongly disliked Amanda for going after her boyfriend Ryan. Amanda, however, came off looking like the bigger person saying she held no hard feelings for Jen and no feelings for Ryan at all.

Julie Chen then announced to the Jury members that Big Brother had one more twist; the U.S. public is currently voting on which jury member gets the first ever America's Favorite Juror prize of $25,000.

The votes were counted by Julie Chen:
Adam - Matt
Adam - Natalie
Ryan - Joshuah
Adam - Sharon
Adam - Sheila
Adam - James
Adam - Chelsia

The winner of BB9 is Adam (A-baller).
Adam promised Julie Chen that he is donating $100,000 to the United Autism Foundation.

America's Favorite Juror is James winning $25,000. Sheila came in 2nd (no money, but a date with Evel Dick!).

The final winnings are:
Overall winner BB9 $500,000 - Adam
2nd Place BB9 $50,000 - Ryan
America's Favorite Juror $25,000 - James

Thanks for the memories BB9

Big Brother 9 - Head of Household CBS Wednesday 8/7c 4/23/08

The Final Head Of Household Competition Of Big Brother 9
CBS Wednesday 8/7c 4/23/08

Big Brother 9 started tonight where we left off last night, sort of. The final Head of Household competition is always a 3 part contest.

Last night ended with the final house guests Sheila, Ryan, and Adam, hanging as if from behind a boat. Cold water pouring down on them while they sat bent-kneed on a boogie board.

The boys did everything they could to psych Sheila out, it worked. After 36 minutes, Sheila dropped out.

Ryan and Adam talked it over and Adam decided to give it to Ryan to prove his loyalty. I hope it backfires on Adam.

Now Sheila and Adam will have to face-off for the 2nd spot in the 3rd round against Ryan. The 2nd competition was a maze game of sorts, looked pretty cool.

Adam beat Sheila by almost 15 minutes. The final 2 to face off will be Adam and Ryan. These 2 should also be the Final 2. At least Adam firmly believes this.

A quick check in to the BB9 Jury House. Matt and Natalie are not liking each other at all any more. In walks Sharon, and makes Matt's day since it means his alliance is intact in the BB9 House.

Ryan won the final HOH Competition, a guess-what-the-evicted-house guests-said game. Ryan chose Adam to take to the Final 2.

Sheila cried and cried. She was pissed. She would not say good-bye. Then Sheila went out to talk to Julie Chen, and cried and cried. And whined and whined.

The jury votes will be very hard to guess. Mine would be:
Natalie - Ryan
Sheila - Adam
Sharon - Ryan
Matt - Ryan
Joshuah - Ryan
James - Adam
Chelsia - Adam

Ryan wins 4-3! I don't really care who wins, as is often the case with Big Brother, it's just getting to the end that is fun to watch (like a train wreck).

Julie Chen made the comment that since it was a game to pair people up, this was the show's first official 'Bro-mance'. The 2 house guests would not confirm... lol.

Here is what 'Ryebread' and 'Baller' had to say after Sheila left the BB9 house...

Big Brother 9 - Veto and Eviction Tuesday 4/22/08

Final 4 Contestants Battle It Out In BB9
Veto and Eviction
CBS Tuesday 9/8c 4/22/08

Ryan put Sheila and Sharon on the block for eviction in the BB9 House. Pitting the guys against the girls in the Final 4.

After losing in the luxury challenge, Adam and Sheila had to be chained together for 24 hours. I cannot believe that these two are still in the BB9 House. They were targeted for eviction Week 1 for their constant bickering, and it hasn't gotten much better.

The final Power of Veto Competition (not live) was
face matching game. Ryan won. I like Ryan, and if it were not for his girlfriend Jen, I would want him to win. I have to root for Sheila to win it all.

No one trusts anyone else in the house now, and I don't think any of them know who is working with whom. They all have deals with each other.

Big Brother is trying to make it look like Sheila is going home.

Ryan chose not to use the Power of Veto, and Adam cast his vote to evict Sharon from the Big Brother 9 House.

The Final 3 are:
Ryan, Sheila, and Adam.

Go Sheila! I guess.

Big Brother 9 - Ryan Nominates 2 For Eviction 4/20/08

Ryan Nominates Sheila and Sharon on BB9
04/20/08 CBS Sunday

Ryan has made it men vs. women for the Final 4 on CBS's Big Brother 9. The rest of the house guests have to get Sharon out this week or next, she is sure to win if she gets into the final 2.

The lines have been drawn, nothing to do but wait and see. The small table looks so different.

I hope that Ryan wins, though I also like Sharon.

Big Brother 9 - Eviction Night 4/16/08

Natalie's Plea For Safety In the BB9 House

After Ryan and Adam confront Natalie about her loyalties in the BB9 House, it appears that she has plead her case well. Creating a rift between Sheila, Ryan and Adam.

The plan of voting Natalie may have just been thwarted! Sheila was horrified that the 'bible boy' were leaning towards keeping Natalie.

At the Jury House, Matt got his birthday wish of James joining them. James made a public statement that the reason he was evicted as the "residue of Chelsia". He made her cry. Someone should. James then made up with Chelsia, but did not apologize for what he said (as well he shouldn't).

Now back to the BB9 House and the live eviction. Sharon looks pissed as Natalie literally begs the boys to keep her.

Ryan votes first: "I vote to evict Natalie"
Adam votes next: "I vote to evict Sharon"

Sheila as HOH will break the tie: " I vote to evict Natalie"

WOW! I did not see it going down that way! Natalie is a crying mess, she had no idea.

Keeping Sharon may be a dangerous thing, she has at least 3 and now easily 5 votes in the end.

Your BB9 Final Four: Ryan, Adam, Sharon, and Sheila

Who would have thought that Adam and Sheila would be in the Final 4.

The new Head of Household competition is a question/answer game. Sheila can't play, as outgoing HOH.

What a piece of crap question: There were 2 known previous relationships in the BB9 house, is there still another?
Answer: Yes, the guinea pigs.

Sharon was ahead of Ryan by one when Julie Chen asked this question. Sharon answered no, Ryan answered yes tying the game. Ryan won the tie break question and Head of Household.

Who will Ryan nominate? Sheila and Sharon.

The show ended with the house guests pondering who the other pre-existing couple in the house is.

Tune in Sunday for the Nomination Ceremony!

Big Brother 9 Veto Competition 4/15/08

Adam Wins POV on BB9 Tuesday
CBS 9/8c

Tonight the plan was for one of the guys to win the Power of Veto, use it on Adam, and vote Natalie off. So far so good. Adam won the POV competition, and took himself off of the Eviction Block.

Sheila kept up her end of the plan and nominated Natalie, who thus far has handled it with grace. Find out more later!

Big Brother 9 - Head of Household CBS Sunday 8/7c

Sheila Finally Wins HOH By Cutting Deals With Ryan & Natalie
Sunday CBS 8/7c 4/13/08

BB9 started tonight where it left off on Wednesday, with the house guests hanging in glass boxes for the HOH Competition.

There was a small part showing Natalie's newest discovery in numerology. Natalie noticed that James got evicted on week 9, it was the 63 day in the BB9 house (6+3=9), and this is BB9 and the it's the end of James' 9 lives! Maybe she is onto something!

After only 8 minutes Sharon, the only BB9 house guest that truly needed Head of Household, had to drop out due to back pain. Left in the boxes were: Sheila, Ryan, and Natalie.

Adam and Sharon decided to go into the BB house at the same time, giving the 3 other house guests time to make a deal to let Sheila win HOH. Natalie suggested that she and Ryan stay up for a little while longer so Adam and Sharon wouldn't think they had a deal.

Ryan dropped after a little over an hour, Natalie then began chatting about what she should do and "what would Jesus do?"

Everyone quietly told Natalie to drop, but still she hung on. Finally, at the 3 hour mark, Natalie dropped after getting a public agreement with Sheila.

Sheila won Head of Household for the first time in Big Brother 9.

Everyone in the BB house understood that the Nomination for eviction this week would be Sharon and Adam. The real plan became back dooring Natalie at the POV Competition.

The plan is: Ryan wins POV and uses it to take Adam off the eviction block. Sheila has no choice but to put up Natalie as the only remaining house guest eligible for eviction. Then let Natalie think that she is the pawn to get Sharon out. Vote 2-0 to evict Natalie from the BB9 house.

Will it work?

Big Brother 9 - Eviction Night

James Goes Home!

Wednesday night means Evictions at the Big Brother house on CBS. Last night, Ryan won the Power of Veto and took Sheila off the eviction block. Adam then put James up for eviction against the perma-pawn Sharon.

As Julie Chen said, "Natalie is sending Matt a birthday present with a pink mohawk".

James was quickly evicted by a vote of 3-0.

The Head of Household competition was an endurance game with the house guests encased in glass boxes open at the top and bottom. A chain hung from a bar across the top, the house guests could either hold onto the bar or the chain. The boxes were suspended with no bottom, so they had to put feet against the front and back against the rear, and hold on.

You will have to watch the live feeds, or Big Brother After Dark to find out who will be the next Head of Household!

Big Brother 9 - Veto Competition

BB9 House Turned Upside Down By Adam's Nominations

Adam's nominations of Sharon and Sheila sent a ripple effect through the Big Brother house this week.

James went to Adam prior to nominations and cried, telling him that he [James] had never done anything personally to Adam. So there was really no reason for Adam to nominate James other that the fact that the entire house (made up of Adam's alliance) wants James gone.

Adam felt bad for James and took the game to a personal level, putting Sheila on the eviction block instead of James.

Sheila, the once paired 'soul-mate' of Adam, was mortified. She through what appeared to be a short temper tantrum, telling Adam that she would have Never done that to him!

After calming down, Sheila talked to Adam like a real person. Adam then understood the possible implications of his nominations and apologized to Natalie, Ryan, and Sheila. The foursome then proceeded to plot a Veto Competition rout. It would be 5 against James.

The Veto Competition was a memory game of numbers. Perfect for Natalie, right? Wrong, Natalie was the first house guest eliminated. Followed by Sheila, James, Sharon, and finally Adam. Leaving Ryan to win the Power of Veto.

Ryan chose to use the Power of Veto and remove Sheila from eviction. Adam then chose James to take Sheila's place on the eviction block.

It appears that the Big Brother 9 house guests will finally get James out of the house for good! Happy Birthday, Mattie!

Big Brother 9 - Adam Nominates 2 House Guests for Eviction

Adam's Second HOH and Nominations
CBS Sunday 8/7c

Tonight's Big Brother was about James' breakdown. Isolated in the BB9 House with no alliance, James finds himself an emotional mess.

The Food Competition tonight was very easy with the BB9 house guests building pathways with mash potatoes. Then pouring gravy down the pathways to fill a tube. In addition to food, the house guests won some outside toys(?) and a grill.

As the show went on, we got to see a softer side of Adam. He reminds me of a friend of mine. You don't think that he is understanding half of what you are telling you, but he really is listening. When James later broke down again to Adam in the HOH bedroom and Natalie got involved, Adam started crying too. He tried to explain to James that it was nothing personal, the entire house just wants James evicted. So Adam made a deal (that may have sealed his own fate).

At the Eviction Ceremony, Adam explained that he based his decision on who appeared to want to stay in the house more. Adam nominated Sharon and Sheila.

Sheila immediately congratulated Adam for being the "biggest jerk in the house". (Way to get people on your side!)

Adam explained that he knew the entire house wanted James evicted, and every Head of Household (the last 3 in a row) has put James on the block. James has won the Power of Veto 3 times in a row thwarting the house plans.

Adam said he was fast forwarding in time to assume that James has already won the POV. If anyone else wins the POV Competition, then it is understood that James goes on the block and gets evicted on Wednesday night.

I thought this was a smart play by Adam. If James wins the POV Competition, Sharon will go home. But Adam's alliance of Ryan, Natalie, and Sheila are furious with Adam.

We shall see how it all plays out on Tuesday night!

Big Brother 9 - Eviction Night Joshuah Goes Home

Joshuah Heads To the Sequester House
CBS 8/7c Wednesday 04/02/08

Eviction night in the Big Brother house is always a drama. Tonight is no different, Joshuah started the night crying to Adam (in hopes of a third vote to stay in the BB9 House).

America was introduced to Joshuah's mom and dad. Joshuah's father could not have looked more embarassed during his son's many outbursts if they were filming him in his underwear watching "Big Brother After Dark".

Nothing could help Joshuah, he was eliminated by a vote of 3-1, James stayed true to his word and voted to evict Sharon. Natalie found out about Joshuah's campaigning to stay in the BB9 house and told Ryan and Adam to vote him out. They did. Go Natalie! I cannot believe she is still in the game and doing so well.

The Head of Household competition was a counting game about things in the BB9 house (Natalie could probably answer every question - I think she has counted everything in her quest for 8's).

Adam won Head of Household for the second time (the first of the season).

Now there are only 6 house guests left.

Find out what is next on Sunday night, see you there!

Big Brother 9 - Veto Competition

CBS Tuesday 9/8c 4/01/08

Tuesday night is Veto Competition night for the house guests of Big Brother.

Tonight was time for James to have his meltdown and a good cry. I'm telling you, they go a little crazy in the BB House.

For the Veto Competition, the house guests had to guess amounts of different things (how much lard in a bathtub). Natalie (as Head of Household), Ryan, James, Joshuah, and Sheila got to play while Adam hosted.

James was the only house guest that had to have the Power of Veto to survive in Big Brother. Ryan could have put James out of the competition twice, but did not have confidence in his answers.

James, of course, won the Power of Veto Competition - again (3rd week in a row).

Then Joshuah cried. Until he came up with a plan to get Sharon up as a pawn, then backdoor her!

You just can't trust the kid with the pink hair!

Natalie put Sharon on the Eviction Block (as a pawn Sharon thinks). We shall see if the house guest stay true to Joshuah.

Big Brother 9 - Natalie Nominates 2 House Guests for Eviction

Natalie is on a hot streak, winning Head of Household this week in the Big Brother house. Her HOH bedroom and letter from home show that Natalie is not necessarily as privileged as many of the other players appear to be (or have been).

Natalie's mind works in mysterious ways, or maybe this is part of the game (watching the players slowly lose their minds from boredom). Last week she said everything pointed to a conspiracy surrounding the number 8. She happened to guess that maybe it had to do with Evel Dick from BB8, and she was right.

This week Natalie decided that Big Brother had conspired with fate to bring about a twist with the number 7 (since she now thought that it was week 7 in the house?) I'm pretty sure the house is getting to her!

The food competition was very easy this week, each houseguest had to vote for either food or slop. The majority would automatically get slop, so everyone but Adam voted for slop. Adam and Natalie both get real food while the rest of the houseguests are on slop for the week.

James had a slight depression breakdown after his partner Chelsia left the house last week. I still think he was embarassed by her tirade on Natalie, she showed her "true colors". I'd be surprised if James and Chelsia could persue much of a relationship outside of the Big Brother House.

Natalie and James have appeared to make a "secret" alliance to go to the Final 2 together. Natalie will now have to somehow not try to get the one person she has sworn revenge on evicted this week. I think she will put Joshuah and Sharon up to make things easier on herself.

Then I think she will try very hard to win the Veto Competition herself, and convince the others that Sharon and Joshuah are the only "couple" left in the BB9 House.

Adam - Safe
Sheila - Safe
Ryan - Safe
Sharon - Safe

Natalie nominated Joshuah and James! Joshuah has never been nominated, James lied once (big time!).

Wow, Natalie is smarter than I thought (again)!

Big Brother 9 - Veto Competition "The Return of Evel Dick"

FOX Tuesday 9/8c 3/25/08

You just can't shake the guy with the pink hair! Matt is going to be just disgusted, though he could not beat James either. James won the gross Veto Competition on BB9. The Veto Competition was hosted by Evel Dick from Big Brother 8 fame (and nothing else). It was a disgusting food competition.

James then took himself off the block, leaving Chelsia to have a meltdown. It is a pretty safe bet that Chelsia will be going home on Wednesday night. The bright spot for her was that she won the Las Vegas trip that Ryan lost last Sunday.

Chelsia may not go home this week, there may be another twist. If she does, it won't be much of a surprise.

Adam runs the Big Brother House this week with the eyes as big as dinner plates. You have absolutely no idea what he is thinking, he says everything with the shaky wild eyed conviction of a 7 year old caught in a lie.

I want to believe that Adam is a good guy. I think he is just "thick" as Judge Judy would say.

Big Brother 9: James Turns the Tables

By Katy Lindamood, published Mar 17, 2008

In the episode of Big Brother 9 that aired on Sunday, there was a complete change in the dynamics of the household. Evicted house guest James was given a second chance and used his get out of jail free card to its fullest potential. Facing off against Natalie as the last remaining house guest vying for the Head of Household status, James promised Natalie and Matt no retribution if she allowed him to win the competition. An ill Natalie agreed to James' terms making James the new Big Brother 9 HOH...

Big Brother 9 - Head of Household CBS Sunday 8/7c

The Return of James

We join the Houseguests, feet planted on a tiny platform dangling above a disco ball (not sure what the purpose of the disco ball was) spinning slowly in a big circle. An obvious test of endurance, as 'champaigne' sprays on them from giant bottles.

The trash talk on this show is really bad... by that I mean it sucks! I do enjoy a clean trashing as opposed to Evil Dick's personal attacks, but these are really sad. More like watching a kitten fight...

Big Brother 9 - Eviction Night

CBS 8/7c Wednesday 03/12/07

What did Ryan stir up? With the house openly divided now, tensions run deep.

The Big Brother House was stirred up again tonight with a twist that is sure to extend the tensions for another week. James was voted off, then the siren went off and all the remaining houseguest were called into the living room. While Julie Chen made her way through James’ exit interview, inside the BB House tensions were running high, as a twist is never fun for these players.

Last Wednesday night Ryan was saved from eviction by a twist, then ironically won Head of Household to become the power player. The house was torn as new alliances had to form quickly between players who did not trust each other at all. Ryan nominated Sharon and Chelsia for eviction...
