Tonight on Survivor: Heroes Vs. Villains we were anxiously awaiting the fall of King Rob. Boston Rob that is, who the previews showed as falling unconscious in the forest.
Day 4 found the Villains' camp still with no shelter. They had started and rebuilt several times, all the while Boston Rob staying relatively quiet. This day, he finally broke. Walking off into the woods, frustrated by Pavarti spewing guidance over all of his directions, Jerri trailed Boston Rob. Earlier he had complained of being dizzy and having a headache.
We did not see Boston Rob fall in the woods. There was some drunken camera movement to simulate what he was seeing (how stupid is that) then Jerri calls to Rob from a few feet away. By the time Jerri reaches Boston Rob he is laying down, with a shirt folded neatly under his head...hmmmm.
Jerri ran for medical help as Rob complained of head pain. Jeff Probst came through the forest with camera crew and medical in tow. Boston Rob was on his side now, but completely out and non-responsive. When he was revived, they had him drink some water from a bottle and poor it on himself to cool off. It was obvious he was quite shaky as he spilled the water on his chest. He actually cried. Saying to Probst, "I feel like it's getting the best of me..." talking about the Survivor game.
Boston Rob recouped in the forest for a while. Got up with the help of Jeff Probst and rejoined his Villain's tribe. However, his moment in the forest gave Rob a "moment of clarity". Boston Rob finally realized he is on the Villain's tribe for a reason, and promised no more Mr. Niceguy (including with his own tribe).
Meanwhile back at the camp, Evil Russell sneaked up on a chicken in the forest and caught and killed it by himself. Very nice.... till he again pronounced himself King Russell of Samoa. Sorry to tell you Russell, Natalie owns that title... but, you can be Queen Samoa!
Flipping to the Heroes camp... no more fairy dust here folks. They found out their farts smell last week at tribal council. Who knew this many superheroes could not get along. They don't make a camp on Survivor big enough for the egos on the Heroes tribe.
Stephanie was clashing with the talkative men at camp: Ruppert, James and J.T. She would not say anything to them though when she was shut down.
Nothing was jiving in the Heroes camp going into the only challenge of the night.
The Reward/Immunity Challenge was a strength/puzzle task. This did not bode well for the Heroes right off the bat. Rolling giant boxes to a platform was the first part and the Heroes owned it.
With a huge lead going into the puzzle section, the Heroes again floundered in lack of direction. Boston Rob, on the Villains tribe told his team to shut up and listen (as promised), and they went on to a second consecutive victory over the Heroes tribe.
J.T. had been the caller for lining up the puzzle pieces, but Stephanie continually yelled over him. James was moving the giant pieces around in circles most of the time.
When the Heroes returned to camp, the proverbial shit hit the island fan. James went nuts about Steph not listening to J.T. and barking over him. "One voice", James kept saying over and over. He said he was just mad at losing so much, "I've never lost this much in my life!"
Cut to Tom "The Holy", who proceeds to enlighten us with the fact that he is privy to the ways of the world, unlike James. Tom said that he wanted to tell James what a winner and a loser is, and where exactly he fit into that equation... but he wouldn't. Well not to his face anyway....
The battle lines in the Heroes camp were drawn. Tom, Stephanie and Colby Vs. everyone else. So Tom "The Holy" may not know as much as he thinks.
At tribal council the Hero claws came out. James had already convinced the rest of the tribe that Stephanie is Kryptonite to their superpowers. He used the argument that Steph was the only Survivor player in history to be the only one on her tribe at the merge. Eek, don't need that happening again.
Tom, aligned with Stephanie from their Survivor game history, tried to convince Cirie to vote off Amanda. Tom's real identity was showing "The Unenlightened One". Cirie and Amanda have Survivor game history too Tom, and a strong alliance.
After some cat fighting at tribal council between Steph and James. Colby and Tom jumped in to save her and showed all their cards. So smarts is not a super power held by either of the Heroes.
Stephanie was the second Hero voted off of Survivor: Heroes Vs. Villains. Will their performance improve? The previews of next week show James out of control on the Heroes tribe. His size helps to exaggerate everything he does, so we'll see next week.
