AGT 2010: Michael Grimm, Alice Tan Ridley, Ascendance & Antonio Restivo Coast to the Semi Finals

Cirque Du Soleil & Train Perform on Live Elimination Night

Wednesday night is time to find out who moved on to the semi finals on America's Got Talent. We were also treated to a performance by Cirque du Soleil, always entertaining. The band Train hit the AGT stage later with their hit "Hey Soul Sister".

Again Nick Cannon called out the acts in groups of three. The first three acts are voted through by the public, the last act is chosen by the judges.

The first acts called out were: Ascendance (rock wall dancers), Mona Sampath Dance Co. (Bollywood dance group) and Ronith (comedian?). Thankfully we will no longer have to guess as to what the talent is that Howie Mandel sees in Ronith. Ascendance was the first act voted into the AGT 2010 semi finals tonight.

Alice Tan Ridley (singer), Iron Horse (band) and Cheer SF (cheerleading squad) were called out for the next group. The obvious crowd and AGT judge favorite was Alice Tan Ridley and in this group she was the easy choice. America followed suit and voted a thankful Ridley through.
