Hell's Kitchen: Nilka's Meltdown Leaves Her Out of the Final 6

It was another night of meltdowns on Hell's Kitchen. Some by Chef Ramsay, most by the contestants. The biggest one of the night turned into a full blown temper tantrum, and surprisingly was not thrown by Ramsay.

With Fran finally gone and Autumn back in the red kitchen all was rainbows and unicorns. Well almost. The red team did manage to finally win a challenge, no thanks to Ben. The man who would be king had his own issues in the red kitchen. Every thing Ben touched turned to crap in Hell's Kitchen last night.

Holli became the quiet underdog of the season when Chef Ramsay chose her dish as the best of the reward challenge. It also earned her a ticket to the dining room during service so she was spared the tantrum.

The blue team freaked out when the three of them did not get both kitchens prepped in time for service. There was no way it could be done along with punishment. Luckily the teams were merged for dinner service.

Nilka seemed out of sorts from the start and began to spiral out of control. Chef Ramsay called her back to the stock room for a pep talk (read scream fest), which only fueled the fire. Nilka went into a full fledged tantrum when she continued to fall behind. After being told to leave the kitchen she really threw a fit. Chef Ramsay then screamed after her, "Take your jacket off and get out of here!"

Nilka would not leave without another attempt, this time trying to beg her way back into Hell's Kitchen. She was simply out matched and her short comings had finally caught up all in one service. It would have happened eventually, but it was hard to watch.

Chef Ramsay did not let Nilka leave without a good-bye. He met her outside by her waiting cab and gave her a hug telling her, "...walk out of here with your head head high!"

Chef Ramsay does have a heart... he grew it after he returned the gifts to Whoville.

After suffering through another nightmare service, Ramsay told the contestants to go back and decide on two people for elimination. They came back offering up Autumn (same thing, different day) and Ed (deer in the headlights). After a dramatic plea for forgiveness from both, Chef Ramsay told Ed to take off his jacket... and put on the new black one signifying the final six. Autumn got her jacket too (boo!).
