Fall premiers continue tonight on network television. CBS and NBC welcome back some returning favorites, while FOX and ABC show a couple of brand new offerings.ABC dedicates the first two hours of prime time to “Dancing With the Stars”. The new show “Detroit: 1-8-7” premiers at 10/9c to end the evening. While I’m not a fan of DWTS, the drama series that follows looks interesting.
CBS offers the return of “NCIS” and two hours of “NCIS: Los Angeles”, both season openers. I’m not a huge fan of the original, and have yet to watch the spin off. I may try to catch the second hour of “NCIS: Los Angeles”.
The new season of “The Biggest Loser” airs for the first two hours of prime time on NBC. It looks just as grueling as ever. I do love the ad with Jillian Michaels asking, “What happened to the cheering?” I like Jillian. A new episode of “Parenthood” follows at 10/9c to end the evening.
The season premier of “Glee” kicks off a new line up on FOX at 8/7c. The pilots of “Raising Hope” and “Running Wilde” follow. I’m not sure about “Raising Hope” yet, it looks a little like a cross between “My Name Is Earl” and “Nobody’s Baby” (a Skeet Ulrich movie). As for “Running Wilde”, it doesn’t look funny to me.
I’ll likely watch the season opener of “The Biggest Loser”. I just might have to finally watch “NCIS: Los Angeles”... if I don’t flip over to “Detroit 1-8-7”.
That’s what’s on network TV tonight. What are you watching? Any suggestions?
