What’s on Network TV Tonight? (Sunday 3/20/11)

The Amazing Race: The First SeasonAssuming we all survived the supermoon last night, we better check the network TV line up for tonight. Sunday’s are a decent night in prime time. New episodes abound tonight with an offering for everyone. This is definitely a night to put the DVR to the test.

Here’s what’s on network TV tonight:

ABC
8/7c: Secret Millionaire - new episode
James Malinchak, author and motivational speaker, goes undercover in Gary, IN to see if he can find heroes in the working class.

9/8c: Shark Tank - new episode
Future entrepreneurs and inventors take heart, one of the best reality shows is back again. See who gets the sharks to back them in their business ventures.

Tuesdays are one of my few nights for watching reality TV. There is plenty of other programming to be had though, if you aren’t into the reality stuff. Lots of drama tonight, with very little comedy mixed from FOX.

Here’s what’s on network TV tonight:

ABC
8/7c: No Ordinary Family - new episode
Jim is mistaken for a violent vigilante when he decides to patrol a park at night looking for a mugger. Stephanie may have figured out why the family got its mysterious powers.

What’s on Network TV Tonight? (9/21/10)

Fall premiers continue tonight on network television. CBS and NBC welcome back some returning favorites, while FOX and ABC show a couple of brand new offerings.

ABC dedicates the first two hours of prime time to “Dancing With the Stars”. The new show “Detroit: 1-8-7” premiers at 10/9c to end the evening. While I’m not a fan of DWTS, the drama series that follows looks interesting.

CBS offers the return of “NCIS” and two hours of “NCIS: Los Angeles”, both season openers. I’m not a huge fan of the original, and have yet to watch the spin off. I may try to catch the second hour of “NCIS: Los Angeles”.

The new season of “The Biggest Loser” airs for the first two hours of prime time on NBC. It looks just as grueling as ever. I do love the ad with Jillian Michaels asking, “What happened to the cheering?” I like Jillian. A new episode of “Parenthood” follows at 10/9c to end the evening.

The season premier of “Glee” kicks off a new line up on FOX at 8/7c. The pilots of “Raising Hope” and “Running Wilde” follow. I’m not sure about “Raising Hope” yet, it looks a little like a cross between “My Name Is Earl” and “Nobody’s Baby” (a Skeet Ulrich movie). As for “Running Wilde”, it doesn’t look funny to me.

I’ll likely watch the season opener of “The Biggest Loser”. I just might have to finally watch “NCIS: Los Angeles”... if I don’t flip over to “Detroit 1-8-7”.

That’s what’s on network TV tonight. What are you watching? Any suggestions?
