This was one of the best written stand offs in TV drama history. I would have paid for a movie version of the "Criminal Minds" season finale and the later resolution.
To recap the "Criminal Minds" season finale:
Agent Hotchner was attacked by The Reaper, the escaped serial killer that took Agent Morgan's ID. The Reaper left Hotch barely alive at a hospital, but took his ex-wife's address. Hotch's family was put into witness protection for their safety....
Cut to the resolution:
The Reaper manages to get the number for the agent guarding Hotch's family (wife and son). He tortures him for info, then finds the agent's cell phone and tracks down Hotch's family. Hotch and the BAU team are exactly one step behind the Reaper. Agent Hotchner receives a phone call from his ex-wife, he knows the Reaper is with her or she would not be calling.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation
CSI is back with new episodes on CBS
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation returned on Thursday night to resume its spot after Survivor. The new episode was a little disappointing to me, but may not have been set as a starter before the writer's strike.
All of the CSI characters either had a cold or were getting over one, even Gill Grissom (William Petersen) was home in bed with the bug. Not to fear, he worked via telephone and computer as we got to cuddle on the couch with him!
The crime involved a family murder cover up. The family tried to make it look like a gang hit (the victim was to testify at a gang trial), but the CSI team figured it out. A gang hit does occur during the episode, and just misses taking out Grissom and Warrick (Gary Dourdan).
Grissom and the CSI team figure out the inmate responsible for the hit, and keep him in prison where he belongs.
The real story is that the CSI episode ends with Gill Grissom answering the telephone and getting comfortable for an obvious personal call. Was it Sara?

Criminal Minds Returns With New Episodes
Is this CBS drama getting softer?
The hit CBS drama Criminal minds is back with all new episodes, but are they as hard hitting as the originals? I was disappointed with the first new episode that aired Wednesday (4/02/08) night.
Agent Hotchner (Thomas Gibson) is still heading the FBI team, and looking hotter than ever. In this episode, we learn that his wife (who left and took their child) wants an uncontested divorce. This is the only soap-like part of the show, and doesn't matter to the show other than to show why an FBI Agent may react a certain way. The stress of this decision ends up putting Agent Hotchner and Agent Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler) in a locked cell with a mass murderer.
We did get to see the conclusion of the case that has haunted Agent Rossi (Joe Mantegna) for the last 20 years. This is the one character on the show that I think seems misplaced, or poorly written.
Agent Rossi joined the team in the BAU after the retirement of Agent Gideon (Mandy Pantinken). While I think it was time to retire Agent Gideon, the Rossi character seems forced.
While all of the characters are uber-dramatic, the show demands no less, Rossi looks like he wants to hit someone (all the time).
At the end, we saw the promise of a smile and a light-hearted ending. Criminal Minds is still a great show, I want to go back to when it actually scared me though.

CBS Cancels Jericho...AGAIN!
The Fault Lies Squarely with the Network. Don't Blame the Fans
By Jon the Storyteller, published Mar 24, 2008Jericho, Kansas became my second home. Robert Hawkins was the guy I most hoped to have a conversation with every week. Stanley and Mimi deserved to have a life together, one built from the ashes of Bonnie's heartless death. Never in recent memory do I recall a racing heart or shouting "It's 11:00 already?"...

Review: Lost Season 4, Episode 8: Meet Kevin Johnson
By Mike Wever, published Mar 21, 2008
Original Air Date: March 21, 2008
Lost ends the first part of season 4 with an episode to rival any of the previous three season finales. In Meet Kevin Johnson, we find out what Michael has been up to since he left the island with his son at the end of the second season. It hasn't been good for him, but it was intriguing to watch...

CBS Jericho Canceled Second Time
By Maxx, published Mar 22, 2008
Well, darn. Here we go again. CBS has made their official announcement that Jericho will not have a season 3. They base their decision to terminate Jericho on the fact that not enough people watched this show on television while Jericho is available for viewing on the internet and other alternative places. The Reason TV Drama Lost is Losing Ratings
Cancellation is Near for This Hit Show
By Marsha J, published Feb 22, 2007
The TV show Lost that was a breakout hit and peaked at more than 20 million viewers has take a big fall in the ratings for its third season. The Valentines Day episode drew in only 12.8 million viewers and while some shows would kill to have those kinds of ratings, for a show like Lost it has people wondering if the end is near...
