What’s on Network TV Tonight? (10/21/10)

C.S.I.: Crime Scene Investigation, The Tenth SeasonThe week is nearly over, but there are still some great shows on network TV tonight. It’s another mixed bag of entertainment with sitcoms, dramas and sports. A little something for everyone.

Here’s what’s on network TV tonight:

ABC
8/7c: Grey’s Anatomy - rerun
Meredith and Derek get bad news from the obstetrician.

9/8c: Grey’s Anatomy - new episode
The attending surgeons all compete for a large grant. While they are busy, the chief puts the residents in charge.


10/9c: Private Practice - new episode
Cristian de la Fuente guest stars as a new oncologist, this does not make Addison happy at all. They must deal with a newborn with a malignant tumor.

8/7c: Big Bang Theory - new episode
Time for Sheldon to meet Amy’s mother, but he then decides he no longer wants to see Amy. Leonard becomes aware that he’s the only one not in a relationship.

8/30/7:30c: $#*! My Dad Says - new episode
Ed decides to teach Henry a lesson after he borrows Ed’s clothes without asking him.

9/8c: CSI: Crime Scene Investigation - new episode
The CSI’s have to investigate a murder at a hoarder’s home. She becomes the prime suspect in the case.

10/9c: The Mentalist - new episode
The team delve into the world of horse racing when a jockey is murdered.

CW
8/7c: Vampire Diaries - new episode
Katherine hunts and finds a new victim, but Jeremy and Damon try to deal with her. Bonnie shares some disturbing information about Mason with Stefan.

9/8c: Nikita - new episode
Owen tells Nikita who killed her fiance. Alex and Thorn are kidnapped, but Alex escapes and goes to Nikita for help.

8/7c: MLB Playoffs Game 5: Phillies at Giants















NBC
8/7c: Community - new episode
Shirley and Abed fight when both decide to make a religious film. Pierce wants to join a new study group with people closer to his age.

8:30/7:30c: 30 Rock - new episode
Kelsey Grammer guest stars as himself. Jack tries to save Liz and Carol’s relationship while he’s on a winning streak.

9/8c: The Office - new episode
Timothy Olyvant guest stars as a competing salesman stealing Dunder Miflin clients. Michael sets up a sting with Jim and Dwight to find out his sales secrets.

9:30/8:30c: Outsourced - new episode
Todd looks into arranging a sexual harassment meeting after a shipment of off-color novelties creates tensions in the office. He’s too late, as someone has already filed a complaint.

10/9c: The Apprentice - new episode
The task tonight is to offer pedicab tours of NYC. Clint and Dave go head to head in the boardroom and Trump is begged by one to fire the other.

Looks like crazy Dave is back at it on The Apprentice. Hopefully Trump has had his fill of the silliness that is this guy. Yes, he was a good drama draw, but enough is enough. It’s sad that he has so little self control, especially while attempting to get a job. I’ll have a recap for you here if you miss the episode.
